He is very popular, dynamic, disciplined senior officer and a good administrator who has got 30 year of rich experience in the Medical and Health field.

He is a recipient of 'National Award', 'Governors Award', 'Chief Ministers Award' and also 'Kemepegowda Award 2003' for his meritorious service in the field of Public Health.

Since Dr.D.Thimmaiah who has got abundant experience in the health care service under his able guidance and administration. the D.M trust have decided to start educational institutions.
